Theme Statement

My theme is relationships (by this I mean friendship and family, not just romantic) and interactions. I still don’t know what I would use to alter the images; I think I would know best once I have the images because I don’t know how they will end up turning up. Ideas will come to me once I see what the pictures look like. I think at least one would be sabattier and at least one double exposure.

Easel Distortion

Alter photo by bending or twisting the photo paper while the image is being projected on it. The photo will lose clarity, but at least 1/3 of the image should be sharp. The paper should be sized at 5' by 7' but the image should be 4' by 6' to make more room for altering it. To see what it will look like, first a test strip must be made and then a safe light filter can be used to view the image.



Strenghts: The test strip lead me to a good print and the prints were somewhat distorted

Weaknesses: I was gone the day that the demo was given so I just had someone explain what to do. I didn't distort the image as much as I could have because I wasn't completely sure how.
